2025 RBIMGC BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND BOARD OFFICERS OF THE CLUB:
The members of the Rancho Bernardo Inn Men’s Golf Club Board of Directors for 2025 (as elected at the Club’s Annual Members Dinner on November 12, 2024) are as follows: David Schwartz, Jeff Bondesson, Johnny Watson, Bob Lohneiss, Jerry Canning, Joe Walkington, Brad Sandstrom, Scott Hamelin, Mike McKinnis, Bryan Murphy and Tom Christopher.
At the 2025 Board of Directors Organizational Meeting held on December 19, 2024, the following Board members were elected as Officers of the Board: David Schwartz, President; Jeff Bondesson, Vice President; Johnny Watson, Secretary and Bob Lohneiss, Treasurer.
The Board extends its sincere thanks and gratitude for the dedication and service of those Board members who departed the Board following the 2024 year: Gregg Gattuso, John Kersey, Norm Blades and Roger Smith. Thank you all for your service.
MONDAY TOURNAMENTS:
To keep current with our regular Monday tournaments, members should become familiar with all the information available under the TOURNAMENTS tab of this website. The following can be found under the TOURNAMENTS TAB DROP DOWN MENU:
SCHEDULE: Lists the upcoming Monday tournaments with the Tournament Director’s name and contact information, the tournament format and any special notes relative to each tournament.
REGISTRATION: Detailed directions on how to register for each event using the Golf Genius Program. Registration is opened at 5PM on the Monday seven days before each tournament. At that time you will receive an e-mail invitation to participate. Registration closes at 4PM on the Friday before the tournament. After that, contact the TD directly.
ROSTER/PAIRINGS: A link to our League Portal in Golf Genius is provided here. Clicking on this link will display the roster for a given round starting the first day of registration. By clicking on this same link after noon on Sunday the day before a tournament, the pairings and tee times will be displayed. Be sure to select the tournament date you are interested in.
RESULTS: The results of each regular tournament can be accessed here after noon on the Tuesday after each tournament.
PACE OF PLAY: Here are numerous suggestions which the membership is encouraged to read and apply during their round to improve the Pace of Play for all members’ enjoyment.
SPECIAL TOURNAMENTS: A description of the five special tournaments which are played during the year, including the Member/Guest event (cancelled for 2023) and the President’s Cup, which is the premier golf tournament of the year.
ANNIVERSARY CUP: Describes in detail the process for earning and accumulating points which will be converted to additional handicap strokes for this major tournament and includes a table showing each member’s point total as the year progresses.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The FINAL RESULTS of the 2024 President’s Cup may be found on the tab “President’s Cup Bracket Status”. The 2024 Champions are, for the “A” Flight, Robert Ciavarella, and for the “B” Flight, Dennis Will. Congratulations to Robert and Dennis as well as to all participants in this year’s President’s Cup.
CANCELLATIONS: If you have to cancel play in a tournament, please text or call the Tournament Director. Don’t be a No Show. Thanks.
